Shipsides Marine, the name behind Stuff4Sailors.com, have been selling boat equipment in North West of England for many, many years, initially in Barrowford, near Nelson, Lancashire, and for several years now in New Hall Lane, Preston.
The company caters in gear for sailboats of all sizes, Mirror dinghies to ocean-going yachts, from the smallest fitting to the heaviest anchors, chain, windlasses, Autohelms etc.
In addition to all of the hardware we cater for the sailor him or herself, and our sailclothing department is packed with wet, dry and polar suits, boots and accessories, offshore and ocean suits, harnesses and lifejackets, and buoyancy aids of all descriptions, for yachting, dinghy sailing, water-skiing, canoeing or just general purpose.
The business is run by Dave Porter who offers many years of dinghy, offshore, and ocean sailing experience - his help and advice has been valuable to many customers over the years.
Over the last few years we have also added a varied range of electronic equipment, with prices that are hard to beat. We are also dealers for the Yamaha range of outboards and inflatables, as well as Escape sailboats.
Mail-order has always been a large part of the business with some 4,500 items in stock from major names in the sailing and boating world.
